23 OCTOBER 2024 - From 3 November until 10 November, UNWRAP will open its doors again so game fans and professionals can explore the applications of entertainment technology across the game, music, film and media industries, and the untapped potential of their crossover.

UNWRAP is not just an event; it's a celebration of the fusion between creativity and technology. A real festival where music performances collide with talks and networking with the obligatory Belgian beer.

PLAY DAY | Sunday 3 November

Thanks to last year’s success, the Play Day is back! Young and old unite through an exciting variety of games to play and discover, from exergaming and serious games, to local indie games and art installations. Get to know new and Flemish games, compete in esports tournaments and get ready to battle your friends and family to show them who’s the best gamer.

ACADEMIC DAY | Tuesday 5 November

During the UNWRAP Academic Day, game professionals, students, lectors, and researchers explore in detail specific applications and topics in entertainment technology. A day for students, lecturers, researchers of professionals looking for tech, art and VFX deepdives.

INDUSTRY DAYS | Wednesday 6 - Thursday 7 November

Professional, students, academics, entrepreneurs and creatives in the game, media, music and film industry gather to unravel the entertainment ecosystem through isnpirational talks and panels, matchmaking, and network events. Hire new skills and talents at the career fair and experience the future of entertainment at the music performances and afterparties.

MUSIC INNOVATION DAY | Friday 8 November

The music industry is constantly evolving with tech as the main driver of change. UNWRAP's Music Innovation Day offers you a deep dive into how technology shapes creation, live performance, distribution, fan experience etc. for the years to come. A day not to be missed for anyone who wants a glimpse of what's hot and new in music and entertainment.

SONIC CITY | Friday 8 - Sunday 10 November

Sonic City is a 3-day music festival focused on artistic freedom of the festival’s curator, a unicum in the music industry. It's not a rock festival, it's not a free jazz festival, it's not an electronic festival. But it very well could be. It’s a music festival for all.
