Belgium, 14 OCTOBER 2026 - The two-person Belgian indie studio Snowberry Games announced Silk & Sorrow, a hand-drawn dark fantasy co-op adventure for two players. Two children descend into the Chrysalis, a world beneath ours where everything humanity throws away ends up, and must work together to survive its darkness.

The Chrysalis once gave a new purpose to everything that fell into it. That was the work of an enormous glowworm its inhabitants called the Sun Queen, and she is dead. Without her light, the things she made are forgetting what they were made for.
The children arrive after her death when there is no light left. Almost nothing. Luckily, they quickly find Glint, a small glowing grub that provides light in the dark. Glint can only be in one place at a time. One child needs to carry the light while the other works in darkness, forcing players to communicate, coordinate and trust each other to survive.

Beyond keeping each other alive, the children must solve puzzles, fight the creatures that stalk the dark, and meet the strange characters who have built their lives among humanity's discarded waste.
Snowberry Games is a team of two making games for two, based in Antwerp. They are self-publishing their first game after two years of development. Every environment, creature and frame of animation in Silk & Sorrow is drawn by hand.
"Glint started as a normal lantern. Then we thought, what if the thing helping these children survive was actually another creature they could care for? That small change ended up becoming one of the most important parts of the game.” \u200b - Mano, Game Designer, Snowberry Games
