First PS VR2 Gameplay Footage of Dreams of Another Revealed!

No Creation Without Destruction in a Dreamworld of Particles!

24 JUNE 2025 - Kyoto-based creative studio Q-Games has released the first gameplay footage of the PlayStation VR2 version of Dreams of Another. This upcoming title is the latest work from the mind of multimedia artist Baiyon, best known as the director of PixelJunk Eden. The game is scheduled for release later this year on PS5, PS VR2, and Steam.

Dreams of Another is a third-person exploration action game centered around the philosophical theme “No Creation Without Destruction.” Unlike typical third-person shooters where weapons are used to destroy, in this game shooting materializes and creates the world around you.

Utilizing point cloud rendering, the game expresses the world as countless particles. On PS VR2 this effect is especially striking. Wander through a dreamworld where even your body feels as if it’s dissipating into the environment.

The PS VR2 version features both third-person and first-person modes, each allows players to experience the particle-rendered dreamworld in their own personal way. More details about the PS VR2 version can be found in the accompanying article now live on the Official PlayStation Blog.

Dreams of Another is scheduled for release in 2025 on PlayStation 5, PlayStation VR2, and Steam. Wishlisting is now available.
