18 NOVEMBER 2025 - The Belgian indie studio Eye Blink Twice is opening its elevator door to take you on a ride to Up Or Down’s demo, now available on Steam.
Dust off that bellhop outfit. It’s time to greet the wacky, the weird, and the “wait, why are you sweating like that?”
Search their belongings, interrogate their life choices, diagnose their symptoms, and decide which guests get a seat on the rescue chopper.
Healthy passengers only: one wrong call and your guests could check out… permanently.

About the game
Up or Down? is a dark choice-driven visual novel in which you choose which guests will be evacuated from the Deluxe Resort. Talk to them, search their belongings, and if they prove suspicious, be sure to do what you must! Will you manage to evacuate only healthy guests, or will you end up killing everyone?
Key features
- Make choices that matter – Letting this guest on board and killing that other guest might steer you in the direction you prefer. Or not.
- Meet 15 characters – Get acquainted with a vibrant cast of colorful characters who can’t wait to escape the hotel with your help.
- Now search them! – What are they hiding in their pockets? Drugs, condoms, you know, the usual? Or does it get weird? Who are they really?
- Listen to the news – Stay up-to-date so those pesky guests can’t stab you in the back with their lies and excuses.
- Achieve 50 endings – Who gets evacuated and who doesn’t? Will you even reach the chopper yourself? Just one playthrough will not tell the whole story...

About the Studio
Eye Blink Twice is a Belgian Indie Studio that has been cooking up games since 2023 and that contain three main ingredients: eye-catching gameplay, relatable stories, and worlds brimming with atmosphere.
