The demo was one of the breakout hits of Steam Next Fest and helped gather over 50,000 wishlists in just two weeks.

23 JUNE 2026 - Independent Belgian developer Maracas Studio announced that Cat Mail Co., a cozy post office simulation set in a charming world of cats, will launch on Steam on July 6, 2026.

PACKAGE FOR YOU: Following a successful demo release and participation in Steam Next Fest, Cat Mail Co. has already generated more than 50,000 wishlists in just two weeks since its announcement.

Players can still try the free demo on Steam!

In Cat Mail Co., players arrive at Cat’s Island in a post office left in disarray after the mysterious disappearance of its former postman. Parcels are piled high, customers are growing impatient, and everything is on the brink of collapse. It is up to players to restore the post office to its former glory, one package at a time.

Cat Mail Co. Announcement Trailer:

Designed as a calm and satisfying experience, Cat Mail Co. focuses on a relaxing gameplay loop where players sort, weigh, stamp, label, and organize mail at their own pace. There are no timers or penalties. The game encourages players to find their rhythm while gradually unlocking new destinations, tools, and abilities.

As night falls, the experience takes a subtle, magical turn. Parcels may reveal unusual properties under moonlight, adding mystery and discovery to the routine. Along the way, players uncover a story hidden within the backlog of undelivered mail.

The game also features up to 4-player co-op gameplay. Friends can work together to optimize workflows or simply enjoy the cozy atmosphere as a team.

Cat Mail Co. will officially launch on July 6, 2026, and will be available in English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Korean, Japanese, Polish, and Brazilian Portuguese.

“In an ever-changing and often unpredictable video game industry, we believe there is still a place for small indie games with strong creative vision. With Cat Mail Co., we wanted to offer players a truly relaxing experience, and we hope they will feel the same joy we had while developing it,” said Sophie Schiaratura, Co-founder of Maracas Studio.
